The scope of the project covers the upgrading of 43.5 kilometers of existing earth roads to R1 standard, providing safer and more reliable road infrastructure for the surrounding communities. Initial activities such as soil investigation are currently in progress, which will be followed by demolition, site clearance, and subsequent upgrading works. Once completed, the road will meet national standards, supporting both the mobility of local residents and the transportation of goods and services.

Beyond its technical purpose, the project is expected to bring long-term socio-economic benefits to the region. By improving road conditions, it will enhance accessibility to remote areas, facilitate trade, and improve the delivery of essential services such as healthcare, education, and logistics.
