The Proposed Repair and Improvement to Dilapidated Schools in N.82 Bukit Sari, Lawas District (Package 13) is one of the key development initiatives carried out under the Northern Region Development Agency (NRDA), with ownership by the Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA). This project demonstrates the government’s and its agencies’ continued commitment to improving rural education facilities, particularly in areas where school infrastructure has become severely dilapidated and is no longer able to provide a safe or conducive learning environment.
In its first phase, the project focuses on the repair and upgrading of eight (8) rural schools in the Lawas District, Limbang Division. These schools are SK Siang-Siang, SK Luagan, SK Sundar, SMK Sundar, SK Awat-Awat, SK Aru Baru, SK Kampung Lintang, and SK Trusan.
